Hope Through Grace Luncheon Inspires Awareness About Colorectal Cancer Print E-mail
HOUSTON - On February 22, Hope Through Grace, Inc. (HTG) in partnership with Amerigroup Corp. hosted a luncheon for citizens of the Houston Metroplex Community. The luncheon offered an opportunity to accomplish two key goals: to heighten attention to Colorectal Cancer Awareness; and to give those who attended an in-depth orientation of the Hope Through Grace organization, its programs and services that are available to assist in reducing the incidence and morbidity of colorectal cancer.

Houston Leader Wins Prestigious Harold P. Freeman Award Print E-mail
Houstonian, Grace Butler, Founder of Hope Through Grace, Inc. works in a home offi ce that she laughingly calls the International Headquarters of her organization. Butler graciously accepted the Harold P. Freeman Award at the American Cancer Society’s Texas Division Annual Meeting in Austin this fall. The nationally recommended award is designated for individuals, groups and organizations that demonstrate exemplary achievement in bringing the American Cancer Society’s mission to underserved and at-risk communities.

“For more than eight months, I had been ailing and visiting my doctor’s office about once every month,” Butler says. “I smiled before I cried because the reason for my ailing had finally been diagnosed.”
